For free-tier users, we track search usage on a per-session and per-account basis to enforce daily usage limits.
This tracking is handled and stored securely in our backend (Supabase).
This data is used solely to manage fair usage and is never shared or sold.

2. Account Data & Email Communication

When you create an account, we collect and store your email address and usage data.
Your email may be added to our internal mailing list for:
Important feature updates
Product improvements
Early access opportunities or beta invites
You can unsubscribe at any time via a link in our emails.
We do not share your email or personal data with third parties unless required by law.

3. Payment Information

If you upgrade to a premium subscription, payments are securely handled through Stripe.
AlgoSkipper does not store your credit card or billing details.

4. Third-Party Services

We use external APIs and services to enhance your experience, including:
- Google Custom Search API — to retrieve YouTube results
- OpenAI — to generate alternate or enhanced search phrases
- Stripe — for handling payments and subscriptions

5. Your Rights

You can request to view, update, or delete your account data at any time by contacting us.
We respect your privacy and will honor all data removal requests within a reasonable timeframe.

This policy may be updated occasionally to reflect new features or legal requirements. Substantial changes will be communicated via email or on your dashboard.
